Dear colleagues,Join us in Osaka, Japan at the beginning of July 2016!!
The 35th annual meeting of the Japanese Association of Forensic Toxicology
(acting as the Japanese branch of TIAFT, the International Association of Forensic Toxicologists) will be held in the heart of Osaka, near Osaka Castle, on the 1st and 2nd of July, 2016.
The meeting will cover all aspects of forensic toxicology, including:
Analytical techniques, postmortem toxicology, clinical toxicology, drug metabolism and kinetics, as well as analyses of alternative matrices; concerning all kinds of toxic or harmful substances, such as new psychoactive substances (NPS), natural toxins, medicines, alcohol, drugs of abuse, doping agents, chemical warfare agents, and their metabolites, which are directly and indirectly related to laws and ethics.
Although the official language is Japanese, you can present your paper in English, and we encourage Japanese participants to use English whenever possible in preparing their slides and posters.
In addition to the highest-level scientific programs, enjoy the Japanese cultures, including washoku (authentic Japanese cuisine), Osaka's unique local foods (such as takoyaki), shopping, and sightseeing.
Also, you may wish to visit the world heritage sites of Nara and Kyoto, both ancient capital cities can be reached within one hour by trains from Osaka, after the meeting.
